The problem

People save hundreds of Instagram and Facebook posts (restaurants and coffee shops to try, recipes, tips) and never go back to them. The save button is where good ideas go to die.

What I built

An iOS app that pulls your saves in from each platform and turns them into an interface you’ll actually use.

  • Instagram and Facebook through Meta Muse: the app hands Muse a question, Muse returns your saves as JSON.
  • X bookmarks through OAuth 2.0 PKCE, using X’s own sign-in page.
  • TikTok through a share extension, plus the data export for backfill (planned).
  • Every source normalises into one SavedPost model. 1,540 real saves (mine and Ariel’s) seed the app during development.
  • The app sorts your saves into topics and proposes a tab for each kind: a Map of the places you saved, and Learn for the recipes and tips, with search across them.

My role

I lead the iOS app: architecture, the SwiftUI screens, and the XcodeGen build setup. Ariel Benavi owns data pulling and onboarding.

What’s next

A hosted ingestion backend that turns each save into a transcript, on-screen text, a summary, tags and embeddings, so search reaches past the caption.
